We recently went on a romantic escape in Chacras and we had an amazing time at our accommodation. We loved how the room was spacious and the bed was comfy enough for a good night's rest. The continental breakfast was another highlight as it had a great variety of fresh fruits and pastries that we really enjoyed. The location was perfect as it was walking distance to charming wineries, delicious restaurants, and local cheese shops.
That we experienced some trouble with the air conditioning, which made the room a bit stuffy. Also, there wasn't a lot of greenery around which was a disappointment. However, overall we had an excellent time and would definitely recommend this place for others looking for a romantic getaway in the area.

This is a very special hotel! Raymond and Bernadette, the owners, offer excellent and personal service and made us feel very much at home. They arranged winery tours, coordinated a car rental for us, made restaurant reservations for us - they really took care of us. Wonderful setting in a little town with easy access to the vineyards. We hope to return in the future!

Helpful owner/manager. This close-to-city hotel is really an accidental add-on to his main property, a proper wine lodge in Valle de Uco, which we also stayed at, it was much much better and we would give a good strongly positive rating to it.
Very much on a busy road; small almost unusable pool, with too few loungers; poor/miserly breakfast

Located on the outskirts of a charming village, the hotel offers easy access to a nice eatery and the region's famous wineries. Guests can also enjoy dining at the hotel's own restaurant, Jardin de Piedras. the comfortable room comes with modern bathroom facilities and a view of the surrounding landscape. the staff provides friendly and efficient service.
The breakfast lacks variety and freshness, with small slices of cheese and ham and no fresh fruit juices.

Amazing hotel! Perfect for visiting the local winerys. The staff are extremely attentive, and always available to offer advice and assistance with any request, nothing was too much trouble. Excellent breakfast included. Very close to great restaurants locally, and only 15mins from Mendoza city. Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough....just the best!

The continental breakfast had a good variety of food options, including fresh fruit juices and slices of ham and cheese. The staff were also very helpful in arranging tours to nearby wineries, and the hotel's location made it easy to walk to restaurants and shops in the area. Best of all, the large yard provided a peaceful and comfortable atmosphere to relax in.
There were a few things that detracted from the experience. The swimming pool was not maintained properly and had dirty water, and the rooms were slightly on the small side. Additionally, the carpets were old and looked like they needed to be replaced.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
